Gator Dredging Services

Small Residential Projects

The engineers at Gator Dredging have developed a dredging and dewatering process which allows for an economically yet environmentally sensitive dredging project. The process combines technological innovations with conservative marine equipment to provide a speedy process for removal of sediments around docks, marinas, canals, ponds, and rivers.

Typically, the dredging will be performed using a hydraulic dredge pump which will pump to sealed containers located within an area where truck access is available. The dredged sediments settle in the containers. The clean return water from the process will then be piped back to the original dredge area. Every precaution will be taken to protect any environmentally sensitive resource, especially manatees.

Our patent pending "Micro Dredging" process allows us to provide an economical, yet effective, dredging method. Age-old dredging has been performed using "clamshell" equipment, loading onto another barge, off-loaded into dump trucks.

Our process takes the sediment directly from the boat slip area to the truck, eliminating the double hauling which translates into savings for the customer. We are able to mobilize this hydraulic dredging equipment into areas/canals which would render other larger types of equipment ineffective.

Large Canal and Marina Projects

Gator Dredging also has the capabilities to perform all of your dredging needs regardless of the size. We have experience dredging navigable canals and marine areas. Our equipment is fully transportable and can be at your project location quickly.

Gator Dredging utilizes a 37' hydraulic cutterhead dredge which can pump up to 4,000 gallons per minute.
