Dear Bill & Jack,

Enclosed is my check for the last half of the fee for the permitting and "Gatoring" of my dock in Harbor Bluffs.

I could not be more delighted with the results:

Before Gator

I could get my 31' Pursuit on and off the lift only at mid-tide levels or above. I had to time my departures and returns very carefully in order to be able to get on and off the lift. This was especially troublesome when I had our Grandkids with us when not knowing if we could get back on the lift. There have been many, many days when I wanted to use the boat but the "tide window" did not fit.

After Gator

I can use my boat even in extremely low tides, like the one we had yesterday when you and the crew completed the project.

Here is a photo showing an upright PVC pipe in the foreground. In order to get on/off the lift the water had to be up to the pipe. Now the water barely has to be under the dock! This photo was taken yesterday, a few minutes after I very easily slid up on to the lift. Incredible!

I was especially impressed by the extreme efforts you and the crew went to without a single complaint when it turned out there were lots of limestone rocks under the lift. In the above photo you can see maybe 15% of the rocks you guys manually split and lifted out of the dredge area.

You were able to remove about 3 feet of rock and silt; so much that I had to have Speeler Marine come out and replace the cables with ones long enough to reach the bottom! See photo below.

Here is the boat heading for the lift at the extreme low tide yesterday. Notice the 30' Grady-White two docks down; no way he could get his boat out at this tide level, but I had water to spare:
